The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filled out in order to receive federal money for college. In addition, many scholarships also require this to be completed. You must create an FSA ID before completing the FAFSA.
What you will need in order to complete the FAFSA:

Your Social Security Number

Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)

Your most recent federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)

Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)

Records of untaxed income (if applicable)

October 1: 2022-2023 application can be filled out using 2021 tax information

November 3: Financial Aid Night at PHS at 6pm.

February 1: Missouri priority deadline

April 1: Deadline to complete FAFSA if applying for Kauffman Scholarship in the spring for fall college
